“ This is a 5.0 restaurant. I have had a majority of the food on the menu and items sold at the restaurant that are not on the menu. Everything is amazing. If you like soup, try any of them. We tried it just vegetables and with each of the meat options. All good. We love soup though. The roti!!! I buy that just to take home so I can eat it with whatever I cook but when you buy in bulk like I do, they need a 2-3 hour heads up. I highlighted everything on the menu I have tried just to make it easier for me. I enjoyed everything. Every bit of this food always gets eaten. My ideal order is polouri, doubles with shrimp curry, oxtail soup, chicken curry (bone in), and buss up. I get some sweet cakes or fudge at the counter. They also make Sorrel and ginger beer which are very good. The pricing is also very reasonable. Worth the money for sure. It's an hour drive for me to go to this restaurant and I do it happily! ”
“ 5 stars Absolutely delicious! The Trinidadian/Guyanese food here is full of flavor and feels like a taste of home. Everything was seasoned perfectly, and the portions were generous. But what really made my visit stand out was the guy working at the front—super cute and even more impressive with his top-notch customer service. Friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Definitely coming back... for the food and the vibes! ”
“ On my way back from the keys heading back home to Maryland decided to stop here. After seeing this place on YouTube just about three miles off 95 . The food was very tasty and friendly service. It’s nice to have Trini food that makes you feel like you’re in Trinidad. ”
“ Calypso Cuisine is a hidden gem for Caribbean food lovers. This small Trini restaurant might look like a hole in the wall, but don't judge a book by its cover! We tried a bunch of dishes: duck curry, goat curry, oxtail, doubles, and soup. Everything was packed with flavor! The oxtail was a standout - tender and not too sweet like some places make it. The curries were rich and tasty, and the doubles (if you've never had them, they're like little flatbreads with chickpea curry) were a great side. All the food tasted fresh and homemade. The best part is the service which was top-notch. The front desk person was very friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. He was happy to explain dishes we weren't familiar with. The place is small and simple, but clean and cozy. ”
“ So glad this family moved here. The food is flavorful & the owners were friendly & personable. Coming from Miami & NY we miss our different cultural foods. My husband has been looking for good Trini food closer than Miami & Orlando for years & we are so glad he found it here! Everything we ordered tasted homemade. I love the bake & saltfish, buss up shut, doubles & sorrel. He had the goat roti & shrimp doubles. All good! We will definitely be back again & bringing friends. Thank you for caring about your business & sharing good food! ”
“ Calypso Cuisine in Fort Pierce is a hidden gem for authentic Caribbean flavors! I had the pleasure of dining there with my family and was thoroughly impressed. The curry chicken was rich and flavorful, paired perfectly with a buss up shot. We also tried the doubles, which were deliciously spiced and hit the spot. The service was friendly and efficient, making the whole experience even better. If you're craving quality Caribbean food with great service, this place is definitely worth a visit! ”
“ 1st time at this restaurant and I was not disappointed at all. A Customer service was on point, JR was very helpful and friendly. Doubles - Delicious / on point Curry Chicken Bussup- Delicious Curry Goat Bussup - Delicious Curry Chicken Dhalpuri Roti - Delicious Best Bussup in FL ”
“ Calypso Cuisine was an amazing find when we were looking for halal spots around Stuart. We opted to make the drive up to Ft. Pierce and it was well worth the drive. All of the items were flavorful and fresh. The best thing on the menu though was by far the Oxtail Stew with rice. The beef patties are also homemade and you can taste the difference between a store bought patty. The pepper sauce is really hot so try a little bit before adding it to the whole meal. The service was impeccable. The gentleman at the front was patient and helpful with our large party and big order. He even gave some good recommendations. I will definitely swing back by this place next time I’m in the area. ”
